An Original Enigmatic Spectacle Mystery

Two weeks ago, Sheriff Guildenstern was found dead at the Granby Claim, a grubby coal mine on the edge of town. With no solid evidence to speak of, investigations have carried on fruitlessly... Tonight, everyone has gathered in the Saloon to raise a toast in honour of the fallen Sheriff, and rumour has it the new Sheriff is going to be announced. Who in this town can be trusted to be the new arm of the law. It’s up to you, the citizens, to find out who put the Sheriff in the ground before some gunslinger gets a gold star.

The Suspects

  • Sheriff Guildenstern - Older man, slightly crotchety, and not well loved, but as honest as the day was long, and would die to uphold the law. Which he probably did…

Deputy Larry Lawson - The incompetent deputy.  Slow-witted, lazy, but surprisingly good in a fight, and with a pistol.

‘Shotgun’ Gerty Cobbs - Foul mouthed, strong armed cowgirl. Will wrestle a steer, then drink anyone under the table, and then repeat.

Mayor Claude Bacon - Scheming, miserly. Would happily take it all to his grave if he could, and will squeeze anyone for an extra dollar.

Harold ‘Harry’ Wittenberg  - Farmland and mining claim owner all around town. He is looking for more…

Rose Garland - The Sheriff’s squeeze. A showgirl at the Saloon, who enjoys some status by being the Sheriff’s number one.
