An Original Enigmatic Spectacle Mystery
In July 1841, Mary Rogers was found dead in the Hudson River. Her murder was bloody, brutal, and considered a crime of passion. The case was never closed. Edgar Allen Poe wrote about the case… The mysterious death has been described as the first ever true-crime story, and is certainly one of the earliest pieces of detective fiction. Poe never actually gave readers an answer to the case. It’s time to investigate into history and put this troubled ghost to rest.
